Introduction to Tarzan the King of Jungle
Tarzan, is a fictional character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Tarzan first appeared in the 1912 novel, Tarzan of the Apes, and then in twenty-three more books. He is the son of a British Lord and Lady, marooned on the coast of Africa. His parents died when he was an infant, and he was raised by great apes. Tarzan movies have been produced since the 1920s.
